AEK vs Panathinaikos Match Preview

For the 12th round of the Greek Super League, AEK welcomes Panathinaikos at OAKA.

AEK returned to victories after 2 games, last week they prevailed 2-1 in Giannina over the local PAS. Both teams had an impressive start in the match, with the hosts opening the score at 5 ΄ and visitors finding the equalizer after a few minutes. Panathinaikos also comes from a positive result, in the previous round they got a three-pointer prevailing 2-0 at home over Panetolikos. The Greens were better throughout the whole match and with two goals in the second half, they got a much deserved victory.

This was the second consecutive three-pointer for Ivan Jovanovic's team in the league that brings them to 5th place of the table with 17 points.

On Wednesday afternoon, Panathinaikos prevailed 2-1 over Volos for the last 16 of the Greek Cup, having the upper hand for qualification to the next round.

AEK targets only for the victory in this one to stay close to first-placed Olympiacos. On the other hand, Panathinaikos is not at their best and targets a big victory that will raise them in terms of points and psychology.
