Belgium vs Wales Match Preview

Belgium host Wales in Brussels in the fifth matchday of the fourth group for the first division of the UEFA Nations League.

The home team had two wins over Poland, a draw in Wales and a 4-1 loss to the Netherlands in their opening four games in June. Undoubtedly if they want to stay alive in the hunt for top spot they will need to see off the Welsh resistance with a convincing performance in the final game in front of their fans before the World Cup in Qatar.

Conversely, the visitors are last placed in the group with just one point and their quest to get off the bottom is made even more difficult by the absences of some of the team's key players such as Ramsey, Wilson and Davies. Gareth Bale may be sidelined due to the trans-Atlantic trip from Los Angeles which shows the high level of difficulty the Dragons will face.

In conclusion, I think that the Belgians will win without difficulties, but I will conservatively bet on the -1 Asian handicap at odds of 1.57 and increase my bet to 6 points, fearing a possible relaxation of the home team which may bring a decrease in the score.
