Benevento vs Pisa Match Preview

Benevento welcomes Pisa in the eleventh round of the Italian second division championship.

The hosts are coming off a 2-1 away defeat against Como, who in the first nine matches had just six points and were in penultimate place. Now Benevento with nine points are in a difficult position as they are only +2 behind the trailing Perugia. Fabio Cannavaro's side are in poor form with just two points from their last six games playing poor football while also having significant absences across the board.

The visitors, on the other hand, are coming off a great 4-2 win over in-form Modena. In the last four games they seem to have improved with two wins and two draws while away from home they have the best attack in the league with eleven goals scored in five games. In their last three trips, Pisa remained unbeaten collecting five points.

In conclusion, the two teams are on completely opposite momentum so I think the odds set are injustice to Pisa who should be even marginal favourites. In fear of a possible draw I will bet 5 points on the away draw no bet at odds of 2.30 which I consider too high for the match.
