Brazil vs Ecuador Match Preview

Brazil face Ecuador for the 4th and final match of the second group of the Copa America, at the Estádio Olímpico Pedro Ludovico in Brazil.

"Celesao" won by 2-1 over Colombia, scoring the winner with Carlos Henrique Casimiro at the 10th minute of the added time. This was their third consecutive victory in the Copa America 2021 and now they have secured their qualification in the next stage as the first of the group. They have one of the highest quality and complete rosters in the tournament and are the big favorites to win the trophy. Brazilian coach Adenor Leonardo Bacchi is expected to use a mix of his first choice and substitute players in a need to split playing time to all his players.

On the other hand, Ecuador comes from a 2-2 draw against Peru. This was their second point in the tournament and are equal to Venezuela, but with a better goal average. The goal for Ecuador is a positive result against strong Brazil, but their mission is expected to be very difficult. They will definitely have their eye in the game Venezuela - Peru where they want Venezuela to lose.

Brazil is a much superior team and wants to finish their group stage games with another victory. Ecuador needs a point or points, but even with a defeat, they can qualify. Brazil to win from halftime is my choice in this one. HT/FT 1-1.
