Brighton vs Chelsea Match Preview

For the 14th matchday of the English Premier League, Brighton welcomes Chelsea.

Brighton's fighting spirit was not enough to get a result in Manchester against City and they were fatally beaten 3-1. In the first half they had a passive role in the match and saw City without charging to score twice. In the second half, they improved their performance and justly managed to reduce the score, but just before the final whistle, they conceded a third goal and it was all over.

Thus, Brighton remain for the 5th consecutive match with Roberto De Zerbi on the bench without a win, they are still in the first half of the standings and specifically in 9th place with 15 points.

Chelsea had a 1-1 draw in the big derby of the previous game against Manchester United. It was a fair result in a match where all important things happened in the final minutes. The London team took the lead in the 87th minute, but in injury time they equalized with a well-shot penalty kick.

I expect an interesting matchup, with Chelsea manager Graham Potter competing against his old team. Brighton after the change in their bench are still looking for their first three points. In contrast to Chelsea who have been ignoring the defeat for a long time and are turning up more and more powerfull. I will bet Chelsea to win at odds of 2.50.
