Brighton vs Tottenham Match Preview

For the 9th matchday of the English Super League, Brighton welcomes Tottenham.

After an exciting encounter, Brighton managed to draw 3-3 at Anfield against Liverpool last weekend. Once again, they showed their quality and made it difficult for their great opponent, while based on the image of the match, they could have gotten the victory points as well. They made an impressive start to the match as they had scored twice in the first twenty minutes but saw the home team counter-attack in full swing and overturn halfway in the second half. Despite this, they did not fall down and in the 83rd minute they equalized, forming the final result.
So Brighton continues to be high in the standings, specifically in 4th place with 14 points.

Playing below sandards, Tottenham last week were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal in the London derby. They can't complain about the result as they didn't have a good play and couldn't contain the hosts who brought out more passion and energy. They found themslves behind in the score from the 20th minute but managed to equalize shortly after with a well-shot penalty kick. In the replay, however, they entered very badly and conceded a quick goal, then they were left with one player less and paid for it by conceding a third goal which shaped the final result.
This was the first defeat for Tottenham in the league, however, they remained in 3rd place in the Premier League with 17 points, 4 less than the leaders Arsenal.
Midweek for the 3rd matchday of the Champions League groups, they drew 0-0 in Germany to Eintracht Frankfurt and remain on track to qualify for the next stage of the competition.

Brighton showed the previous matchday that they are justly high in the standings, being very competitive for every opponent. Tottenham, on the other hand, coming off a defeat, are looking to get back to winning ways which will keep them close to the top of the standings. I expect a match with many chances and goals as both teams like to play fast and aggressive. My choice is Over 2.5 at odds of 1.85
