Cagliari welcomes Milan at the Sardegna Arena for the 30th game of the Italian Serie A

Last week Cagliari was defeated 2-0 to Spezia on the road. t was their second consecutive defeat in the league. They did not have a good performance and couldn't threaten offensively at all, while defensively allowed many chances to their opponents, and conceded two goals in the second half losing easily the match.

This was the second consecutive defeat for Cagliari that was preceded by that of Lazio. They remain at the bottom of the standings, more specifically in 17th place with 25 points, just 3 points away from the danger zone.

Milan prevailed in the previous match against Empoli, even with difficulty, with 1-0. The match started perfectly and Milan was ahead in the first twenty minutes but they could not score a second one. Even so, they kept the lead until the final whistle of the match.

It was a significant victory in the battle for the title, at the end of the 29th round Milan is in 1st place with 63 points having 3 more than Napoli, 9 rounds before the end of the league.
