England vs Italy Match Preview

For the 3rd round of the 3rd group of the Nations League, League A, England welcomes Italy to Molineux.

England returned to positive results, after the defeat to Hungary, they drew last Tuesday 1-1 with Germany on the road. They had a passive role for most of the match and remained back in the score at the beginning of the second half, but finally managed to score the equalizer shortly before the final whistle

This was England's first point in the group, after 2 matches played they are in 4th spot (last place of the group) and today they will seek their first victory.

Italy are coming from a victory as they beat Hungary 2-1 in Cesena. They prevailed more easily than the final score indicates, as they were superior from the beginning of the match and closed the first half with a two-goal lead. In the second half, they were again the team with the most chances but missed in the final effort, and despite the reduction of the score, they kept comfortably the lead until the end of the match.

After this outcome, Italy reached 4 points after 2 games played and are the leaders of the group.

England in the first two matches did not seem to be in a good form, at home, however, I expect them to play stronger even if they'll play without their fans due to suspension. Italy, on the other hand, are trying to build a new team after being eliminated from the final stage of the upcoming World Cup. Both have enough quality but at the same time, they have several defensive gaps so we can reasonably expect a match with goals from both sides. Both Teams To Score at odds of 2.00 is my final call.
