FC Copenhagen vs Dortmund Match Preview

Copenhagen host Dortmund in the sixth and final matchday of Group Seven of the UEFA Champions League.

The hosts are coming off a 0-2 away win over Randers in the Danish league. In Europe they have picked up two points in as many home games which ended goalless against Sevilla and Manchester City. In the indifferent match against Dortmund, the Danes have the opportunity to continue unbeaten at home and manage to score something that they have failed to achieve in their previous five group games.

The visitors, on the other hand, after the draw at home with Manchester City, advanced to the next stage together with the English, passing victoriously at the home of Eintracht Frankfurt with a score of 1-2, despite having difficult moments. The match in Denmark for the Germans is without substantial motivation and some important footballers may be protected.

Taking into account the above, I expect the home team to be aggressive as they will want to score a goal and with the strength of their home in an indifferent game it is not at all improbable. At home they got a result from big opponents like Manchester City so I expected lower odds for the home win. I will bet 3 units on the 1X double chance at odds of 2.20.
