Fulham vs Chelsea Match Preview

In this rescheduled match of the 7th matchday in the English Premier League, Fulham welcomes Chelsea.

Fulham continues to impress, in their last match for the league they beat Leicester away from home with 1-0. They did not impress with their performance but were highly effective and in their only chance of the match they scored the winner. After that, they were under pressure from the home team, but with a lot of luck they kept a clean sheet and celebrated their 3rd consecutive victory in the league.

Now Fulham has reached 28 points being 7th- placed in the Premier League and is starting to dream of a European ticket for the next season.

Chelsea tried hard in the home match against Manchester City but eventually lost 1-0. The home team, despite having many missings due to injuries, were competitive and gave Pep Guardiola's team a hard time, but they couldn't hold them until the end and they conceded in the 63rd minute and suffered a  narrow defeat.

Thus, Chelsea remained at 25 points and the end of the previous matchday found them in 10th place in the standings, having 8 points less than the top-six sides that secure a spot in the European competitions of the new season.

Fulham continues their very good run in the league and is quite competitive against any opponent. At the same time, Chelsea, despite their quality, continues to face problems, not being able to obtain stability in their performance. I expect a fast-paced matchup here with many chances. My choice here is the Over 2.5 goals alternative at 1.87 odds.
