Lanus vs Union Santa Fe Match Preview

For the 3rd round of the Argentinean Liga Profesional at the Estadio Ciudad de Lanus, Lanus face Union Santa Fe. All the games in Argentina continue to be played without fans due to the Covid -19 pandemic.

It was a reat victory for Lanus in their opening match of the league prevailing by 1-4 on the road over last year's champions Colon Santa Fe. However, joys and festivities stopped immediately as Lanus then suffered a 0-3 defeat at home to River Plate.

On the other hand, Union Santa Fe after their 1-1 draw against Boca Juniors, come from two consecutive defeats, by River Plate and Banfield. They did not perform well and were deservedly defeated. Santa FE definitely needs time to present their best.

The suspended defender E. Brítez was left out of the squad. It will not be an easy task tonight  against the hard fighting Lanus.
