Leeds vs Leicester Match Preview

Leeds returned to winning ways, last week they prevailed 2-1 over Norwich on the road and took a three-pointer after two unsuccessful results. After a mediocre first half, Leeds managed to open the score at 56΄, however, at 58΄ their opponents leveled immediately the match, but right after that, Leeds took the lead again keeping it until the end of the match.

That was the first away win this season for Leeds, but they remained low in the standings, more specifically they are 17th-placed in the Premier League with 10 points.

Leicester run a streak of 4 games without a single loss but that broke last weekend in their home game against Arsenal as they lost 2-0. They conceded two fast goals in the first twenty minutes and no matter how much they dominated for the rest of the match, they could not get anything from it. With this defeat they remained at 14 points and after 10 rounds they are in 11th place in the Premier League.

On Thursday night, Leicester played a 1-1 draw with Spartak Moscow for the 4th round of the Europa League group stage and stayed behind in the battle to qualify for the next stage of the tournament.

This is a match between two teams that, despite their quality, are unable to maintain stable performance for the time being.
