Leicester vs Arsenal Match Preview

Leicester welcomes Arsenal for the 25th matchday of the English Premier League.

Leicester failed to get something at Old Trafford the previous matchday, they were justly defeated by Manchester United 3-0. They deserved better luck as in the first half hour of the match were very good and missed chances to score but failed the final attempt. But then they succumbed to United's superiority and conceding a goal just before the end of the first half and two more in the replay lost the match.

So Leicester lost a short 3 game unbeaten streak and the end of the match found them in 14th place with 24 points, 4 points away from the relegation line.

Big win for Arsenal last week where they beat away at Birmingham, Aston Villa with  4-2. In the first half, they fell behind early on in the score, equalized but shortly before the break they fell behind again in the score with 2-1. In the replay, however, they stepped up and were highly effective, managing to make a turnover and get a valuable three-pointer.

With this victory, Arsenal, taking advantage of City's loss of points at the home of Nottingham, leads the standings alone with 54 points against 52 of Pep Guardiola's team.

Leicester is quite up in the last matches while at home they are quite competitive. Arsenal, for their part, come from a great victory and want another three points today that will keep them at the top of the standings. Both play open and offensive football, score and concede goals with ease and I expect something similar in the match between them. My pick is Over 2.5 goals at odds of 1.70.
