Levadiakos vs Volos NFC Match Preview

Levadiakos welcomes Volos for the 21st matchday of the Greek Super League.

Levadeiakos were quite competitive last week in Toumba against PAOK but could not avoid a 3-2 defeat. They fell behind in the score early, responded immediately but had the misfortune in the last chance of the first half to fall behind again in the score. In the second half, they conceded a third goal, but responded immediately without threatening even more and, unfortunately, they did not take anything from the match.

Having just one win in the last 10 matches, Levadeiakos continue to be very low in the standings, specifically in the 13th and penultimate position of the standings with 13 points.

Second consecutive bad result for Volos, the previous matchday they were defeated at home by Panaitolikos 3-2. They may have taken the lead in the score but the follow-up was not proportionate as in the first chance of the guests they saw their opponent reach the equaliser. In the replay they conceded two goals in the over the span of a few minutes, with the home side having missed a penalty in between to equalize and so could not have had better luck.

Despite the drop in performance recently, Volos continue to be in 6th place which gives the last ticket for the European playoffs with 29 points and plus 4 from 7th Atromitos.

Levadiakos has been unaware of the victory for a long time and has now fallen back to the bottom two of the standings. Volos, for their part, show a decline in their performance, however, they remain within the goal of the top six. I predict a close match and will go with the most motivated team.
