Manchester United vs Southampton Match Preview

For the 25th round of the English Premier League, Manchester United welcomes Southampton at Old Trafford.

Manchester was unreliable for another match, last Tuesday they played a 1-1 draw at the home of the last-placed, Burnley. In the first half they dominated and apart from the goal they scored in the 18th minute, they had chances to expand their lead but were ineffective in the final atempt. After an entertaining midweek match, Southampton left London with a huge win 3-2 over Tottenham. It was a pretty deserved win as they were the team that played nice and solid football. Despite the fact that they fell behind the score twice (18΄, 70΄) they were not discouraged, initially, they equalized at 23΄ and with an impressive comeback, they scored at 79΄ and 82΄ to grab the three-pointer.

With this victory, Southampton reached 28 points and are in the middle of the table.

Southampton, for their part, after their great victory against Tottenham, go to this encounter with a winning mentality. I expect a match with many chances and a fast pace.
