Monaco vs Ferencvaros Match Preview

Monaco welcome Ferencvaros on the second matchday of the eighth group of the UEFA Europa League.

Despite a 0-0 in the first half against Lyon, the hosts managed to win 2-1 in their recent league match. In the group stage opener they escaped from Belgrade with 0-1. In ten games so far played this season in all competitions, Monaco managed to score in all of them, however, they conceded in eight of them.

On the other hand, the Magyars have six wins in as many league games having scored eighteen times. In the eight matches they played for the qualifiers of the European competitions they scored in all of them with the exception of the opener against Tombo in Kazakhstan where they played a bore draw.

Considering all the above, I expect the French side to score again as they have done so far in all the matches but also to concede goals since their style of play favors this fact. Ferencvaros, on the other hand, after the win against Trabzonspor are expected to play without any fear at all, and I expect them to score taking advantage of the defensive gaps that Monaco has shown. The odds at 1.95 for BTTS seem to have enough value, therefore I will stake 3 units.
