Olympiakos Piraeus vs Levadiakos Match Preview

Olympiacos welcomes Levadiakos for the round of 16 of the Greek Cup in a rematch of 3-2.

The red and whites are at topping the Greek Super League and show that for one more season they will very difficultly be threatened in the battle for the title. In their last match for 2021, they are called to overturn the 3-2 against them from the first match. To avoid the risk of an early elimination, coach Martins has no room for big rotation in his squad and is expected to field mainly with his first selections.

Levadiakos is first and undefeated in the Southern group of Super League 2 and the big favorite to participate in the promotion play-offs. In the first match against Olympiakos, they managed to take the victory with 3-2 and will go to Faliro trying to finish a big upset. Before this rematch, they had a break in the league so they will go pretty fresh with their best squad aiming for the miracle.

Olympiacos is clearly the favorite for the victory that will give them the qualification for the last 8 of the competition. A victory is enough for them to qualify but they will definitely try to score a couple of early goals so that they do not risk until the end.

So my choice is the Over 2.5 goals alternative that may be offered at low odds, but I believe that it will be easily confirmed even if the visitors do not score. Of course, in case Levadiakos manage to score, things will become even easier for my pick.
