PAOK vs Volos NFC Match Preview

For the 13th matchday of the Greek Super League, PAOK welcomes Volos to the stadium of Toumba.

PAOK were impressive in midweek, beating Ionikos away 3-0 with perhaps their best performance this year. After a sluggish start, tehy took control of the match as time went on and managed to go into the locker room with a two-goal lead. In the second half they dominated and with another goal triumphed over Ionikos.

This was the 2nd consecutive victory for PAOK in the league and at the end of the 12th matchday, they were in 5th place with 22 points.

Return to success for Volos, last Thursday they beat PAS Ioannina at home with 2-1. After a mediocre first half with few chances, the home team came on strong in the second half and took a two-goal lead in a short period of time. In the last quarter, however, they relaxed and not only conceded one, but also risked a draw.

Even so, Volos returned to the three points after 2 matches and continue to be high in the standings and more specifically in 4th place with 24 points.

I expect an interesting matchup, on the one hand PAOK who come from a series of good performances and on the other hand Volos who are the pleasant surprise of this year's championship. Both have enough quality in midfield and score easily, I expect something similar in the battle between them. My pick is Over 2.5 goals at odds of 1.90.
