Sheriff vs Omonia Match Preview

Sherif hosts Omonia Nicosia in the sixth and final matchday of the fifth group in the UEFA Europa League.

The hosts are coming off a 2-1 win over Dacia Chisinau in the domestic league and remain top of the table, six points ahead of Petrocub. They lost 3-0 in Manchester to make it four consecutive defeats in UEFA Europa League with ten goals conceded and no goals scored in those games. In the last two games, they were with an interim coach. However, they are close to third place in this group since they have to lose by at least 0-3, which was the score they won over Omonia in Nicosia, taking advantage of the very early lead they took in that match.

The visitors, on the other hand, are coming off a 2-0 home win over Anorthosis Famagusta in the debut of new coach Yannick Ferrera in the domestic league.
