Volos NFC vs OFI Crete Match Preview

Volos welcomes OFI at Panthessaliko Stadium for the 10th round of the Greek Super League.

Volos was defeated just before the International break as in the 9th round lost Aris at home with 2-1. After a match that had intensity inside and outside the field with both teams remaining with 10 men from 22΄, the side of Volos was the one that missed the first chances but closed the first 0-1 back in the score. At the beginning of the second half, the hosts conceded a second goal, however, they reacted in a couple of minutes reducing the score to 1-2, but then as time passed they ran out of strength and inevitably did not take anything from that match.

This was the fourth consecutive winless match for Volos, however, they remain high in the standings and specifically in 4th place with 14 points.

Two quick goals in the first ten minutes were enough to give OFI a 2-0 comfortable victory against Atromitos in the previous match. After their impressive start, they managed the match properly and without risking particularly defensively, kept the lead until the end.

This was the first home victory for the team of Crete in this season's Super League and with 12 points in total, they are in 6th place of the table.

Volos, after their impressive start in the league, seems to have a decline in their performance, OFI on the other side, does not impress with their performance but in 4 away matches they remain undefeated. The fighting style of the hosts predisposes us to an open match with many chances and it is worth betting on the many goals. The Over 2.5 goals alternative is my choice at decent 2.16 odds.
