Wolves vs Fulham Match Preview

For the 2nd matchday of the English Premier League, Wolves welcome Fulham to Molineux.

Despite their good performance, Wolves failed to get their first points at the home of Leeds as they lost 2-1. They entered the match powerfully and opened the scoring in the 6th minute, but conceded the equalizer a few minutes later. In the second half, they were the team that dominated, missing many chamces, but were unlucky as not only did they not score, but with an own goal in the 74th minute, they lost the match.

Tonight, in their first home game of the season, they look to repeat a good performance but with fewer defensive mistakes to get their first 3 points.

Fulham was extremely competitive in the opening game against Liverpool and deservedly drew 2-2. They even took the lead twice, once in each half, but couldn't hold on to it, conceding the equalizer the same number of times.

In any case, beyond the point of the tie, they had a very successful match against a very big opponent that give them a psychological boost for the next league games.

Wolves were quite good in the opening game but paid for their defensive naivety, at home they are expected to be very competitive again this year. Fulham, for their part, pleasantly surprising against Liverpool, go into today's match with high morale.
