Zrinjski vs Tobol Match Preview

Bosnian champions Zrinski Mostar host Kazakhstan champions Tobol Kostanay in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round.

The hosts are coming off two wins against Tirana which saw them qualify, having previously been narrowly eliminated by Sherif in the Champions League where they had a bore draw in the first leg. The home of the Bosnians is one of their strong assets and they will rely on it in this round as well since in the last five years in ten European matches they have lost at home only to Maribor.

On the contrary, the guests also stake a lot at their home ground and lose their momentum when they play away from it due to the fact that they have artificial turf. They come from a two-win qualifying campaign against Lincoln from Gibraltar but then were knocked out by Ferencvaros in the Champions League after a heavy 5-1 defeat in Hungary.

Taking the above into account, I expected the Bosnians to be clear favorites with under 1.90 odds, but the odds on offer show that they are more likely to not win which I don't agree with. I will stake 3 points at 2.02 odds on Zrinski Mostar to win as I think they have a good chance of winning at their hot home ground.
