A better start

Angers had two impressive performances in their home games and a disappointing one vs Lyons on the road (0-6). However, they managed to bounce back with a 3-0 win over Metz last weekend. They had already the double lead in the first half and they didn't risk much in the rest of the game, just like they did in the opening game against Bordeaux. Defender Fulgini isn't 100% fit yet after his injury as well as midfielder Thioub. No one has performed yet this season.

Dijon's start was very disappointing. They suffered two home losses to St Etienne and Bordeaux and another one against Toulouse on the road. In their most recent one, against Bordeaux, their performance was tragic, actually, they didn't create any chances to score at any point during the whole game. Attackers Tavares and Jeannot are still out, as well as defending midfielder Marie who hasn't performed yet.

Angers enjoy their start that gives them the upper hand against a team hasn't achieved anything after three rounds this season. It's worth mentioning that Angers registered only wins in their last three h2h home games since 2016 that they both returned in Ligue 1. If the hosts perform as they did against Bordeaux and Metz, I believe they can register another easy win. Home win is my call.
