A big city rivalry

It was another great performance for PAOK who humiliated Apollon Smirnis 5-1 on the road in the previous round. Another easy win for PAOK, who are already 9 points ahead of second-placed Olympiakos and they target to win the title undefeated. PAOK have already 19 wins and 2 draws after 21 rounds played and their target is to keep winning till the end. 

Aris didn't manage to continue their three-week winning streak as they played a draw vs Panionios (1-1)  in their last home game. It is worthwhile to mention that the home team played with a man less in the pitch from the 11th minute, however, they opened the scoreline in the very first minutes of the second half. The guests found the net a few minutes later and the stalemate was the outcome of this encounter. S.Pantelidis' team now has the upper hand in the battle for a European spot, as they sit in the fifth place having 33 points.

This match is the biggest clash in Thessaloniki, there is a traditional rivalry between these two clubs. Both teams need the points tonight, PAOK to secure the title the sooner they can, while Aris keep fighting for a European spot. Both teams have offensive quality and can create much, however, they are not so stable in their half. I expect goals tonight, Over 2.5 goals is my call.
