A crucial game for the second place

In their last game for Champions League group stage, Ajax were superior than Bayern and the final draw 1-1 in 'Allianz Arena' was quite unfair for them. In their first game they had an easy win 3-0 against AEK Athens and now the upcoming games against Benfica are going to be crucial for their journey in the tournament. In Eredivisie things are the same as they were before the international break and the 4-0 win in Heerenveen's home kept them in 2nd place of the table, at -5 from first-placed PSV. The only problem for team's manager E.ten Hag is the absence of winger Tagliafico.

Benfica registered 1 defeat and 1 win in Champions League group stage so far. In the opening game, they were outclassed 0-2 from Bayern Munich in Lisbon. That was their only defeat in 15 official games this season. Then, they won AEK in Athens even though the draw maybe was the fairest result. They didn't have any game for Primeira in their schedule last weekend, they played a cup game against a team of 3rd division and won 3-0. Central defender Jardel won't play, as he is not 100% fit. 

Bayern Munich are the favorites of the group and so both Ajax and Benfica will to their best to get the 2nd place. They prefer to play aggressively and I expect a good tempo and some goals in this game. BTTS will be my call.
