Is a big clash, different from the past

No more successful performances for the 'Greens' after their encouraging start in the Greek League. They've lost their orientation in the pitch and they can't find the net with ease. George Doni's team registered many consecutive negative results and now the 5th place seems to be far away. They've only scored once in their last 6 games having major problems in the offence, they even don't create any chances at all. In the previous game vs AEK their performance was slightly better, however, they didn't find the net for one more time.

On the other hand, Olympiakos' performances in most of their games are satisfying, however, the fact that they cannot chase any title so early in the season is something unusual for them. The management could not blame coach Martins, the team has a decent passing game and they create a remarkable number of chances, almost in each game. In addition, they scored 15 goals in the last 4 games for the Greek League, having respectable effectiveness in the past few weeks.

The prestige was always an important factor in these games between these two teams. Olympiakos will target for a win as we know that the future of many players in the team is based on the result of the remaining games. The away team are definitely the favourites in this one.
