A start full of ambitions

Sassuolo saved their skin last season in the last rounds, however they wanted something more. So, last year's mistakes should be a lesson for the future. 39 years old Roberto De Zerbi (former coach of Benevento) is now their boss. They made many signings, such as Khouma Babacar, Jens Odgaard, Jeremie Boga and Di Fransesco. They also signed Loccateli from Milan and Kevin - Prince Boateng, as a free agent. From the 'big names' Diego Falcinelli, Francesco Acerbi and Mateo Politano resigned. In the first official game of the season they won 5-1 Ternana for the 3rd round of the Cup. First goal is to stay in Serie A, but I expect them to do more this year.

On the other hand, Inter finished 4th in the last year's Serie A. They had a pretty good start but unfortunately they didn't keep it up this way, escpecially when they had to face teams like Juventus, Napoli, Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina and Milan. Luciano Spalletti stayed on the bench. They made some decent signings like the 21yo Lautaro Martinez from Racing Club who is a talented and evolving player, Radja Nainggolan from Roma, Sime Vrsaljko, Di Marko and Mateo Politano. Comparing to last year's team, Inter has a stronger squad. In the International Champions Cup they won 1-0 Lyon and Atletico Madrid, while they were defeated from Chelsea at penalty shoot-out. 

This is a start with many ambitions for both teams, each one with different goals. Both teams are expected to have a strong performance, as they have new members. I would give the lead to Inter's quality and superiority.
