AC Ajaccio vs Lille Match Preview

AC Ajaccio is a newly promoted team in French Ligue 1 in this season. This is their first season in Ligue 1 since 2013/2014. In the previous season, they finished in second in Ligue 2 and secured direct promotion. At the beginning of Ligue 1 this season they are without a win in three games. They have two draws and one loss, against Lyon.

Lille started season with a win, a draw and a loss. In their most recent game, they lost with an embarrassing 1-7 to PSG. It was a very bad game for Lille but I believe they can surely perform better this season. In their first two games, they got four points. Fonseca is their coach this season and I think that Lille will finish somewhere between 5th and 7th place in the league.

Overall Lille is a better team than the hosts. AC Ajaccio has not won a game in last five games (preparation games included) and in the last seven h2h games with Lille. AC Ajaccio is more possible to get some wins against less strong teams than Lille. Lille not to lose in this one is my final call.
