Adelaide are coming from an away bore draw vs first-placed Perth Glory's, it was a realy important point. They were strong enough and due to their great defensive team work, they managed to protect their goal. Now they are 6th-placed, having 23 points and their goal is to participate in the playoffs. Baba Diawara and Apostolos Stamatelopoulos are injured. The upcoming home game vs Brisbane Roar will be an easy one.

Central Coast Mariners finally registered a win after 13 rounds. Their strong performance led to a 2-1 win vs Melbourne City, followed by a 1-1 draw vs Brisbane Roar. Howover, in their most recent match, they suffered an 1-0 loss vs Newcastle Jets. Now they sit in the bottom of the table, having one of the worst defensive lines in the A-League.

Adelaide United have a great chance to win some important points to get closer to the top-four spots. From my point of view, Central Coast Mariners aren't capable of getting something from this game. Adelaide United to win with two or more goals difference is my call.
