Aldosivi vs Lanus Match Preview

Aldosivi faces Lanus for the 1st round of the Argentinian Fase Complementación at José María Minella.

The hosts finished at the 3rd spot of their group with a total of 8 points, behind San Lorenzo and Argentinos Juniors. They had some terrible home performances, suffering a 1-4 defeat against Argentinos and San Lorenzo, while they played a bore draw against Estudiantes.

In the last match, they played a 0-0 draw against San Lorenzo on the road, and their manager Angel Guillermo has to work harder to make his team more competitive at home as well.

On the other hand, Lanus failed to get anything positive in the previous match against Newells Old Boys on the road. They entered the pitch strong and competitive opening the scoreline in the first half, but unluckily, they conceded 3 times, suffering a heavy 3-1 defeat. In fact, they were playing with a player less for the most part of the game. As a result, they finished out of the top two spots in the group.

In Copa Sudamericana, they managed to get qualification over Bolivar with an aggregate score of 7-4. After that, they played a home draw against Independiente, and next week the rematch will follow away from home. Quite a few changes are expected for Lanus by their manager Luis Zubeldia, but still, I expect that they will be more than competitive on the pitch.
