Argentina - Venezuela Match Preview

In this match of South American qualifiers for the World Cup 2022,Argentina will play against Venezuela. There is no doubt here which team should win this match.

Argentina is in the second place of the table. They are yet to suffer their first defeat in the qualifiers, having won 10 out of 15 matches played. Though they already qualified they will definitely want to win once again. Most certainly they have the team to do so. Argentina is without a single loss for 29 matches in a row which is incredible. Last time they were defeated was in 2019.

Venezuela is in the last place at the table with only 10 points. They have lost all eight matches played on the road in the qualifiers. They have managed to score only three goals and conceded 18, having won only two matches out of last 15 across all competitions. I doubt that they will score a single goal in this match. Argentina conceded only one goal in last eight matches played and it will be tough to break through their strong defence.

Last time these two teams have played against each other Argentina won 3:1. That match was played in Caracas. Now they play in Buenos Aires and anything but an easy win for the hosts will be an upset. Argentina seems unbeatable at the moment.
