Aris vs OFI Match Preview

After three months of inactivity, Aris host OFI in the resumption of the Greek Super League, for the first round of the championship playoffs.

Despite their bad finish in the regular season of the Greek Super League, Aris secured a top-6 place in the standings totaling 34 points. They managed to secure their participation in the qualifiers of the next season's Europa League, while at the same time they have reached the semi-finals of the Greek Cup.

OFI had also a successful season as they secured a place in the top-six of the standings and a European ticket, 20 years after their last participation in European competitions! Their second round may not have been so good as their first one, but even in the last match of the regular season, they achieved the main goal they've set from the beginning, and they will now participate in the championship playoffs quite relaxed.

The shape of both two teams is quite tricky considering the three months of inactivity, and the fact that the match will be held behind closed doors will play a significant role for both sides. Even so, the odds are not representing at all the similar performance of these two sides. I will take the risk here, picking OFI to win, offered at decent odds at 5.30!
