Arsenal vs Olympiacos Match Preview

Olympiacos face Arsenal in London for thιs second leg of the Europa League round of 32.

After their bad start in the Premier League this season, Arsenal seems to be improved a lot. Since the beginning of 2020 they are performing very well, and they are currently the only team out of the 5 major European leagues that remain undefeated in all competitions that they participated in.

In the first leg against Olympiacos, they were not definitely the superior side, but with the quality of their players managed to score and took a great lead for qualification. Last Sunday, they won over Everton 3-2 at home, proving once again their fluency in scoring goals, but also and their defensive problems they are facing this season.

Olympiacos will play without stress, hoping to repeat what they accomplish in 2015 where they managed to win in London with an impressive 2-3 as part of the Champions League group stage.

After their huge victory last Sunday against champions PAOK in Toumpa for the Greek Super League,  Olympiacos will play with great motivation to this match and will try their best in order to increase their chances for qualifying.

My call for this match will be Over 2.5 goals to be scored. Arsenal faced Olympiacos 4 times in London in the last decade. Except for the match in 2009  that ended 2-0, all the rest matches had goals from both sides and went easily to over 2.5 goals. Olympiacos will try to score at least a goal here, so they will be forced to play aggressively, but the fact is that Arsenal are a great offense side. I think Over 2.5 goals has a value here.
