Aston Villa vs Burnley Match Preview

Aston Villa would be hosting Burnley in this Premier League game. 

Aston Villa are in bottom half of the table but they are safe from relegation. It is looking very hard for them to finish this season in the top-10 and so I do not think Gerrard will play in this one with his best possible squad. Gerrard has started the season really well but was not consistent. 

Aston Villa have lost three out of the last five home games. In the five games, they won only once and that too against the weakest Premier League side, Norwich.

Burnley are into the relegation zone, in 18th position and have this game in hand. If they win or even draw, they would be out of the relegation zone and would go ahead of Leeds, so avoiding a defeat here will be a significant factor going into the last round of the Premier League. 

Burnley have won three out of the last five games played. They lost their previous game but it was a very hard one against Tottenham. In this game, Burnley will be without Vydra and Gudmunsson. 

As this is an essential game for Burnley more than Villa, I expect visitors to play better. My prediction for the game is Burnley either to win or draw.
