Aston Villa vs Manchester United Match Preview

Aston Villa faces Manchester United at Villa Park for the 35th round of the English Premier League.

The hosts are coming from a big win over Everton by 2-1 on the road. They were by far the better side on the pitch and missed many goal-scoring chances that could have increased their winning margin. They opened the scoreline at the 13th minute and Everton equalized a few minutes later, but in the last 10 minutes of the game, they scored the winner and deservedly got all three points.

Despite this big win, Aston Villa has slight chances of getting a European ticket this season since they are ranked 11th, 8 points behind the seventh-placed Tottenham.

In the recent derby against Liverpool, Manchester United's fans entered the pitch of Old Trafford and the game was canceled. The match was rescheduled for the 13th of May (Thursday). In the most recent game, United drew 0-0 against Leeds on the road and after 33 rounds played, they are ranked 2nd in the Premier League with a total of 67 points. 

Manchester United qualified in the final of the Europa League, prevailing 8-5 on aggregate against Roma, after losing 3-2 on the road and having won 6-2 in Old Trafford.
