Athletico Madrid vs Liverpool Match Preview

We have a UEFA Champions League football game and the sides that are playing against each other are Athletico Madrid and Liverpool. Athletico Madrid is the hosting side as the game is played at Wanda Metropolitano. The referee would be from Germany.

Athletico Madrid is in the second position in Group B, as they have won one and drew one game in the first two rounds. They drew their first game against Porto and then beat AC Milan (Milan being with ten men for the most part of the game).

Athletico Madrid played both their games without their important defender Savic who got a red card against Chelsea last season. Savic remains suspended here because of that red card. Another missing player for Athletico would be Cunha as he is injured but this wouldn't matter to them much.

Liverpool is at the top of this group winning both their first two games played. This will be a much bigger test for them as it is very difficult for any team to beat Athletico at their home. It's difficult even to score.

Liverpool would be without Thiago, Eliott, and Curtis Jones.

The last encounter between these two sides was in a knockout stage and Athletico knocked Liverpool out in extra time.  At Athletico's home, the hosts won 1-0, so I pick a double chance of Athletico to win or draw in this one.
