Atlanta United vs Nashville Match Preview

Atlanta United face Nashville for the 6th round of the American MLS, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Atlanta United wants to leave behind the bad run they had in Orlando for the cup, where they finished last in their group, without a single point. Even more negative  for Atlanta is that they did not manage to score even a aingle goal in the tournament.

From now on, they will focus on the league. The 44-year-old manager Stephen Glass will continue to be on their bench. He counts a lot to the Argentinians Ezequiel Barco and Pity Martínez, two very important players of the team. Both will be in the first eleven for tonight's game. The only missing for tonight's game is the Venezuelan striker, Josef Martínez.

On the other hand, Nashville comes from a goalless draw against Dallas, while ten days ago, they won 1-0 against the same opponent. They performed well in both these games and deserved these four points. 

Now things are difficult for Nashville, they will do whatever they can to avoid defeat. For this match, they will probably focus on their defense.

Atlanta United has the upper hand for this game to win. I think that they will manage to take all three points, and I expect hat they will find their motivation again. Nashville comes from two difficult games against Dallas and the fatigue of their players will probably affect their performance. Atlanta United to win is my call for this one.
