Atromitos vs PAOK Match Preview

Atromitos has made an average start in the Greek Super League, having played a draw with Larisa at Peristeri in their opening game and another one in Lamia for the second round. Their most recent one, in Lamia on the road, was an exciting game. The hosts scored twice, but Atromitos managed to level the game and form the final 2-2. nex Saturday Atromitos will search for their first win against the Champions PAOK, definitely a more difficult game than both their previous.

PAOK's first target for this season was to qualify for the Champions League group stage, however, they were eliminated from Ajax in the second qualification round. Then they played against Slovan Bratislava in the Europa League playoffs, but they were eliminated again, and they are out from the European tournaments quite early. Now they have to focus on the Greek Super League to defend their title. They've already registered two home wins the first two rounds. In this one they will search for their third consecutive three-pointer, against an opponent that is considered as one of the top teams of the Greek Super League in the last decade. 

Despite the average start in their journey, Atromitos are still a good team, especially at their home where they rarely lose. On the other hand, PAOK wants to remain in the top place of the table. Both teams have quality and they can score with ease, but they have also conceded in every match till now. Over 2.5 goals will be my call.
