Augsburg will play at their home ground against Hoffenheim in this match of the German Bundesliga. Just two points separate these two sides in the standings.

Augsburg is in much better form than the away side. The hosts have won two out of the five games played in 2023. Two of these matches were played at their home and managed to win in both. Away from home, they lost all three matches in 2023.

Hoffenheim is in desperate form. They had a lot of success in previous encounters against Augsburg, but this time I do not expect them to win. They have changed their manager and nothing has improved in the team. They did not record a single win in Bundesliga since October 14th.

Augsburg, as I have stated, is in better form but, still, they will have some problems with injured players. However, the situation with Hoffenheim is far worse in my opinion. In this battle between these two candidates for relegation, I will go with Augsburg.
