Australia vs Vietnam Match Preview

Australia will be playing against Vietnam in the seventh game of the group. Australia are the hosting side as the game is played at Melbourne. 

Out of the six games played by Australia, they have won three, drawn two, and lost just once, having scored nine goals and conceded four. Australia are in very good form as they have won 11 out of the last 14 games played. From their last ten wins, seven of them were by more than a goal.

One of the main Australian players, Ajdin Hrustic, will miss this game due to suspension so he would probably be replaced by Rogic or Mooy. Graham Arnold knows this game should be not taken lightly and so he would field a well-experienced team here which would make sure the three points are easily earned. 

Vietnam are at the bottom of the group as they have lost all their six games played, scoring 4 goals and conceding 12. 

Tuan Anh Nguyen and Thanh Chung Nguyen are suspended for this game. Attacker for Vietnam, Cong Phuong Nguyen (top scorer in the current squad lost Vietnam have) would be starting this game.

The last head-to-head meeting between these sides ended in Australia winning. Australia are very strong as compared to Vietnam and I expect them to start strong and lead at the break.
