Back to dark ages?

Things are going great for Bosnia & Herzegovina. Three wins and a draw were their results in the recent UEFA Nations League tournament. They deserved the first place of their group (vs Austria and Northern Ireland) and they promoted to League A for the next competition. They are full of quality players who prove to be more than prepared with Robert Prosinecki on the bench. Bosnia & Herzegovina are based on their home games and they know that Greece will probably be their main opponent for one place that qualifies for the EURO 2020 finals, given that Italy are the big favourites of this group.

At the start of another qualification tournament, the Greek National team have dreams and aspirations. Everyone has the right to dream and hope till the end, however, the facts are not in favour of the Greek side in this tournament for one more time. There have been many mistakes in recent years for the Greeks. The new coach, Angelos Anastasiadis, is an old fashioned one and seems that modern football has overcome him. It is also important that the Greek National team lack quality players and they seem without motive in the most recent tournaments. Will Angelos Anastasiadis be able to inspire them? Among this troubled situation, the Greek National team have to play vs Bosnia in a difficult game on the road. Manolas, Torosidis, Pelkas, Mandalos and Christodoulopoulos aren't available for this one. 

It's a crucial game for both sides, however, the home team have clearly the upper hand. The home factor is important in this one for Bosnia & Herzegovina and of course, we cannot ignore the lack of homogeneity and all the other problems their opponent have. Home win.
