Peru, whose performance was great in World Cup 2018 finals, are playing in home after a long time. Although they didn't get the qualification to knock-out games in the recent World Cup (their only points were from the 2-0 against Australia), they gained many new fans due to their attractive performance. In September they played two quite difficult friendly games in Europe and they were defetead from Germany and Netherlands (2-1). However R.Gareca's team gained again the impressions. In October they played against Chile in the United States and registered a 3-0 win and a 1-1 draw vs home team. Compared to their previous games in the USA, defenders A.Callens, J.Madrid and midfielders C.Cueva, P.Hurtado won't play tonight.

Ecuador were one of the teams that stayed out of the qualification to World Cup's finals very early, so they didn't play any official game this yea so far. In September they played two friendly games winning 2-0 both Jamaica and Guatemala, who are teams with low quality, while in October they suffered a 4-3 loss in Qatar from home team and had a bore draw vs Oman. Defenders R.Arboleda, L.Caicedo and midfielders J.Sornoza, J.Cevallos as well as attacker J.Plata won't play neither tonight in Peru nor in the upcoming game in Panama, all of them performed in Qatar in October.

Peru are on a higher level the last 3 years due to R.Gareca and now that they're playing in home, they want to do their best. Their opponent were quite weak the past few years. I think Peru have more chances to win but I expect Ecuador to score as they are used to (they scored in 9/11 away games) even if they don't get a positive result eventually. BTTS will be my call.
