Banfield vs Gimnasia Match Preview

This is the opening game of the 15th round of the Argentinian Super Liga with Banfield playing against Gimansia in Florencio Solá. 

Two very important victories were made by Banfield before the international break. They won at the derby against Lanus 0-1 away from home, as well as Velez Sarsfield with 1-0, creating a great point difference in the relegation table. They struggle scoring many goals, but even so, they somehow manage to get the three points. In 14 matches in the league, they have a total of four victories and a lot of draws. Renato Civelli and Claudio Bravo return after suspensions.

Gimnasia has many ups and downs lately. The team of Diego Maradona cannot create a winning streak. After winning 0-3 over Aldosivi on the road, they were defeated at their home ground, much easier than expected, to Arsenal Saranti with 0-1. Their upcoming games are two consecutive matches at home vs Central Cordoba and Velez Sharchfield, where they will determinate their future in the league.
