The wolrd famous El Clasico will be played this Sunday and this is a very important game in Spanish La Liga this season.

Barcelona is currently first-placed in La Liga with a comfortable lead. They have 9 points more than Real Madrid and if they can stay undefeated in this match they will be really close to the title this season. They have probably the best defense in Europe's top 5 leagues this season in terms of allowed goals. Their attack is not that prolific lately but they are not allowing goals. In the last six games in La Liga they allowed only one goal. Their last three games ended with wins 1-0.

Real Madrid won their last game in La Liga, 3-1 over Espanyol, which was their first win after two draws against Betis and Atletico Madrid. In the UEFA Champions League, they won both matches against Liverpool which is a really big success. All players except Alaba are ready and should be able to play against Barcelona. Real Madrid knows how to play these big matches and I would expect them to play well at Camp Nou.

Real Madrid will definitely need to win this match to cut the deficit. This is one of the most important games for them this season. If they lose, the league title race will be over. They will attack Barcelona and if they play as they played in the cup game against them and convert their chances then they will have a chance to win it.
