Barcelona – Real Madrid Match Preview

Barcelona will host Real Madrid at Camp Nou in this second of the Copa del Rey semifinal series

Barcelona got another win without allowing a goal to their opponent in La Liga and they are at the top of the table with 12 points more than second-placed Real Madrid. They have allowed only 9 goals in 27 matches so far which is more than impressive. In the first leg at Santiago Bernabeu Barcelona won 0-1 and they will try now to defend that lead at Camp Nou.

Barcelona has the best defense in La Liga but Real Madrid has the best attack with 57 goals scored and they have once more confirmed that in their last match where they scored six times against Valladolid. All players except Mendy should be ready for Real Madrid and some key players like Modric, Valverde, and Rudiger have been rested for this match.

Barcelona has the lead from the first leg but Real Madrid was the dominant team in that match. It will be an interesting match for sure. Real Madrid needs to attack and they should be able to score a goal or more against Barcelona. Barcelona will be satisfied even with a draw as they will advance to the final if they do not lose in this one.
