Barnsley – Cardiff Match Preview

In this match of the English Championship, Barnsley will play at home ground against Cardiff City. I expect an interesting match and a win for the away team. 

Barnsley is in bad form at the moment. They are struggling big time this season and are deservingly in the last place of Championship. This team has won only two matches in the whole season. They are falling behind and are the first candidate to be relegated. They have scored only 17 goals in 27 matches played. In this match, they will be without their top scorer in Championship Cauley Woodrow. Besides him, they will also miss Brittain, Halme, Oulare, and Oduor. Liam Kitching is questionable for this match. 

Cardiff is in better form than the home side. They are in 20th place in the league but are six points clear from relegation. They won 26 points so far in the league and Barnsley has won only 14. Cardiff is playing much better away from home at the moment, actually, they have won 16 out of their 26 points on the road. They will miss only one player tomorrow, Vassel, who is not that important part of the team. 

Cardiff did not lose at this stadium in the last seven matches played. They avoided defeat against the strong team of WBA in January and also won in the last round match against Nottingham Forest. The last time Barnsley had a taste of a victory was on 3rd November. Cardiff is the better team here and will want to continue with their form.
