Basaksehir vs FC Copenhagen Match Preview

Basaksehir continues to live their own dream, after winning Goztepe away from home, they are still at the top of the standings in the Turkish league, having played though, one match more than their main opponents.

Basaksehir has also an excellent run so far in the Europa League, in the group stage they managed to top their group, leaving behind them powerful opponents like Roma and Monchengladbach. In their first knock-out round, they beat the odds against Sporting Lisbon recovering after a 3-1 loss in Portugal. At home, they are very strong and competitive against any opponent.

Copenhagen, on the other hand, are a weaker side. Especially when playing away from home, they are struggling a lot. And that is something that we have seen happening both in European and domestic competitions. Despite this fact, they made an exception winning over Celtic in Glasgow in the previous round of the Europa League competition. 

I expect that the home advantage will play a decisive role in this match. I will go with Basakshehir to win in this first leg.
