Basel vs Eintracht Frankfurt Match Preview

Basel face Eintracht Frankfurt, 5 months after the amazing 0-3 of the first leg that gives a clear advantage to the German side.

In the previous matches, Basel has achieved their goal to participate in the next season's Europa League, having no hope left of claiming the domestic title. In the last two league matches they played two draws, focusing on the upcoming Europa League game since they will most probably qualify to the quarter-finals, hoping to go as far as possible in the competition.

On the other hand, apart from the heavy 0-3 defeat in the first match in Frankfurt, Eintracht has an additional disadvantage, the lack of action, since their last official match was played 40 days ago.

The home team's lead is big, but the Germans are known never to give up and will probably enter the pitch full aggressively trying to turn things around. I expect an open match with an offensive football from both sides.
