Battle for the qualification

Cerro Porteno are with the back against the wall after their 2-0 defeat in Monumental. They couldn't cope in such a difficult home, they choose a defensive approach, but, still, they deserved to lose this one, their opponents' superiority was more than clear. In the domestic league, they made a wide rotation and they played a 1-1 draw at Nacional's home. Now they sit on the third place of the table, having 12 points after 7 rounds. Cerro Porteno will try to make the overturn in front of their fans and their coach Miguel Angel Russo will do his best to achieve this. Fernando Amorebieta is suspended and he won't perform tonight.

Rivel Plate registered a 2-0 win in the first leg that took place at Buenos Aires so they made a clear qualification step for the semifinals. They were superior during the whole game and they deserved their win. In their domestic league, their reserves performed against Talleres and consequently they suffered a 0-1 loss on the road. Everyone's mind is on tonight's game. Ponzio and Quintero are injured, while Perez is missing, due to his suspension.

Cerro Porteno have to do their best from the very beginning to score. They are quite strong at home so things could be tricky for River Plate. On the other hand, the guests have great quality and they can score with ease playing their usual offensive game. I expect goals in this one, Over 2.5 goals is my call.
