Relegation battle in Cardiff

Cardiff didn't have any midweek game so they had more time to prepare for this on, compared to Burnley. They need the points as they have registered only 2 bore draws, one in home against Newcastle and one in an away game with Huddersfield, after the first 6 rounds. However, their defeats were against some of most difficult teams of Premier League (including Arsenal, Chelsea, City), so now they have a chance for a new beginning against a team who last week had their first winn after 12 Premier League games. Winger Peltier will be out for at least 3 months, while midfielders Gunnarsson and Mendez-Laing won't play due to injury. The Ivorian defender Bamba came back and probably will be in the first eleven.

Burnley had a bad start too with 4 points till now, 1 draw and 1 win (4-0 against Bournemouth in home) that put themin the lowest places of the table. They were eliminated from Olympiakos  just a step away from Europa League group stage, they were also eliminated from League Cup after their 1-2 defeat against Burton. Midfielder Defour returned in that game as he recovered from his injury. Their upcoming game is against Huddersfield, before the most difficult ones against City, Chelsea, West Ham and Leicester.

This game hasn't got a favorite, both teams are trying to get back on their feet. Home will be an important factor, as well as the fact that the guests have never won Premier League newcommers in their past 11 games (6 draws and 5 defeats). Home win will be my call.
